On your marks...

Only a few days left to register for the festival. If you haven't done it by Friday, you ain't going to Glastonbury next year.

All ready for the traditional rugby scrum for tickets then? Finger poised over the refresh button, or redial on your phones? Got your team of mates set up on a slew of mobile phones, landlines and computers? Awesome.

Glastonbury 2010 is almost underway, and the rumours are hotting up - names like Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Fatboy Slim, Florence and the Machine, Dizzee Rascal, Stevie Wonder, Pavement, Dolly Parton and..um..Duran Duran and Bodger and Badger are cropping up all over the net and in the hallowed halls of Pilton Tithe barn and village hall.

If you believe the latest, the world's most famous dairy farmer has already booked one headliner and is in 'serious discussion' with another.

Michael Eavis has said that he wants as many people as possible (..around 177,000 people, then?) to help him celebrate the festivals 40th years - and you don't want to let the bearded one down, do you? Just look at his little face.

"Pwease come to my party?"
