It's a sell-out!

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2010 are all gone. Sort of. Mostly.

Tickets went on sale at 9am and, apparently, shortly afterwards it was the usual stories of busy servers and phonelines. By 9pm they'd all be snapped up. Bit of a turn up for the books when you consider that last year, tickets took weeks to sell out and the year before they were still available at the start of the festival.

Not sure why things are different this year. Last year's good weather, maybe? 40th anniversary?

I was relatively surprised that so many people were capable of getting up for 9am on a Sunday - and we're getting the usual complaints about people who couldn't get through/servers crashing/phone lines engaged.

There will, as always, be a few up for grabs thanks to failed transactions, and registration will be re-opening on the 12th October.

Congratulations to everyone who got their ticket and sorry to everyone who missed out.
