You too.

So, yes. It seems that St Bono has descended from on high to visit our lowly Pyramid Stage. I can't remember if I promised to eat my words with ketchup or not...

I gotta admit that having looked at the U2 US tour dates, I thought there was no way it could happen, but.. yeesh. Colour me wrong.

U2. Who'd have thought it?

The announcement has rather scuppered the office chat about this year's festival being entirely colour-schemed - mostly due to rumours we'd heard about Green Day and Pink making an appearance. This obviously opened the floodgates for other bands including Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Simply Red, Black Sabbie, White Stripes, Silverchair, Blue Oyster Cult, Goldfrapp, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Goldie Lookin' Chain, Agent Orange and..er..Blue.

I don't think you'd seen U2 appearing on a paint pot anywhere. Shame, really. I was getting quite carried away by our own silliness.

...U2. Huh.

I'm excited. Not necessarily because of U2 (although it's hardly a kick in the teeth), but because it's suddenly dawned on me that Glastonbury Festival 2010 is like..really, really going to happen, and if U2 are headlining Friday night, there's a good chance we're in for the line-up to end all line-ups.

I'm so excited I can't sit still. True story.

U2 would sell out Glasto 5 times over on their own.
we can be sure of 20,000 gatecrashers this year. I certainly would if I wasn't working there :))

so what are the odds on an appearance by SUSAN Boyle? (Not Katie as a previous comment!)
